Publishing Guidelines

Organizations usually succeed when they have a clear vision, specific goals, values that govern their practices and policies, and remarkable achievements that support their prospects. This is contingent on developing criteria and principles that manage their activities and relations, relationships and interaction among their members on the one hand, as well as their relationships with third parties on the other hand, with a view to eventually achieve the organization’s mission.

Therefore, Arkan for Studies, Research and Publishing is keen on being part of the intellectual production movement and on being guided by a scholarly view and a civilized perspective that reflects our nation’s unique culture. We are committed to conducting research, studies, periodical reports, and multilingual translations of economic, political, social, legal, and other humanitarian issues. Arkan complies with a set of governing standards, principles and values that constitute an overarching code for researchers. We have compiled those standards, principles and values in a series of regulations and guides to make them easily applicable, turn them into effective research tools, and provide access to them by scholarly organizations, research centers and researchers.

One of the most important research tools is the academic Publishing Guidelines that contain the procedural and administrative guidelines and provisions of academic research and publishing, in addition to the Style Guide that outlines the principles and standards of academic writing. On our website, Arkan has published the first edition of both to support academic research and researchers in social and humanitarian studies. We hope to provide more improved versions in the future. In these two issues, the reader will find many guidelines and resources that have been carefully selected after examining many Arab and Western resources and models.
