Ennahda party in Tunisia faces an issue of applying Islamic political vision from a traditional perspective in a society where secular power represents a considerable proportion. After that, the party decided to apply a modernist vision based on the separation of Political Action from Preaching (Dawa).

This study attempts to study the ability of this vision to get Islamic movements out of their frequent crises with Arab regimes and peoples. First, it addresses the concept of separation between Preaching (Dawa) and political action and its philosophy, then studies the Tunisian model as a highlighted case study. It then presents a summary of the formative side of the movement, the effect of its leaders’ thought on its development, its justification for the idea of separation in the light of international, regional and local variables and finally the outcomes of this policy and its impact.
